Biographical Statement for Tony Moore: My undergraduate education is in Science & Technology Studies from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. This degree is highlighted with a concentration in Engineering Design & Society and Information Society & Culture. Research here at Indiana University will analyze communication technologies as a case study for exploring the affect of technology has on society; the changes along the lines of communication devices and social interaction - taking a strong look at various GUI Systems. Largely, my studies drive from the idea that technological potential is illustrated in the history. This social shift between information and discourse is what I propose to study.
